What You’ll Do

Join our dynamic team as the cornerstone of communication within our facilities! You’ll be the first point of contact for both internal and external inquiries, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and professionalism. From managing incoming calls to resolving resident and guest concerns in alignment with ACS policies and protocols, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.

Arcadia Retirement Residence (Punahou)

Shift
  • Full‑Time (35‑40 hours per week), Tuesday to Saturday, 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm
  • Call‑In (No set schedule), as needed;
    Minimum 2 shifts a month.
Pay Range

— $17.42 to $20.00 Hourly

Responsibilities
  • Perform necessary duties for emergency situations such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies and drills as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook.
  • Welcome on‑site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor visitor access including monitoring of surveillance cameras and radio transmissions following established sign‑in, registration protocols to ensure a safe environment.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department.
  • Respond to questions and provide callers with information.
  • Cash resident checks, sell postage, and balance reception and Gift Shop cash boxes.
  • Receive, sort and route mail, publications and deliveries.
  • Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, faxing, correspondence, reports and collating.
  • Maintain daily log of activities.
  • Maintain and issue company keys; update check‑out log.
  • Respect and observe residents’ and co‑workers’ rights and privacy.
