Customer Service Associate (HELE Kalihi Kam | Full-Time)

Location: 2260 Kamehameha Hwy, Honolulu, HI, 96819
Salary Range: $17.15 - $21.15 per hour (plus $3.00 shift differential eligibility)

This position is located in one of our HELE convenience stores on O'ahu, Hawaii. • Provide prompt and courteous customer service, including assisting customers at the gas pump.
• Accurately ring sales on the POS system and comply with all cash handling procedures.
• Handle all tender including cash, coupons, and credit card transactions.
• Comply with company policies, store procedures, safety and environmental policies.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and perform shift audits.
• Participate in safety programs and trainings, and attend mandatory job‑related meetings.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain site cleanliness inside and out, including equipment upkeep.
• Identify equipment problems and report them as needed.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision and work flexible hours as required.

• Stand or walk for entire shift.
• Use vision for inventory, gas pump operation, and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Follow safety procedures and respond to safety alarms.
• Frequent reaching, gripping, wrist movements, and finger dexterity for restocking, packaging, and POS operation.
• Frequent squatting and kneeling for restocking items.
• Push/pull up to 20 pounds with a hand truck.
• Lift 20 pounds or less from floor to waist, overhead, or short distance.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Climb stepladder for stocking or retrieving materials.
• Possible exposure to gas fumes, solvents, and noise.

• Minimum age 21 years and legal authorization to work permanently in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales and cash handling preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency in English (oral and written) and telephone communication.
• Ability to work various shifts, arrive on time, and work flexible hours.
• Ability to use equipment, tools, and materials as required.
• Ability to perform essential duties in the conditions described.
