The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Honolulu, HI, responsible for leading all aspects of store operations and team performance. This role oversees daily activities such as opening and closing the store, managing staff schedules, supervising visual merchandising, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. The Store Manager coaches and develops team members, sets clear sales and service expectations, and monitors performance against store goals.
Responsibilities include managing inventory levels, overseeing loss prevention procedures, and maintaining compliance with company policies and standards. The Store Manager also partners with regional leadership on local marketing efforts, drives client outreach, and fosters a positive, inclusive, and high-performance store culture aligned with Brighton’s brand values.
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in fashion, accessories, or specialty retail, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including coaching, performance feedback, scheduling, and conflict resolution.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build relationships, handle service issues professionally, and create a welcoming in-store experience.
- Operational strengths in inventory control, cash handling, visual merchandising, and maintaining store standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills, with proficiency in basic computer and POS systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
- Comfort with analyzing store performance metrics and using data to inform decisions and drive results.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.
- Prior experience training and developing team members; bilingual skills are a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
