Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2410) – Target

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $18.00 USD per hour

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to assist with their specific needs and solve issues
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment when needed
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately, in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain features and offerings within the Target App (including Wallet)
• Understand order pick-up, drive-up, and online ordering; assist guests to enroll, activate, and use these features
• Process returns following policy prompts and escalate to leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
• Support guest services (order pick up, drive-up, drive-up returns) and ensure compliance with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Safely scan, handle, and move merchandise; ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions when performing duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
