Customer Service & E-Commerce Supervisor - Full Time

In this role, you will support the Customer Service & E-Commerce programs, leading processes that enhance the checkout experience and manage grocery delivery & pickup at your assigned store. Your focus will be on safety, quality of outbound online orders, an excellent pick‑up experience, team productivity, and program execution.

You will monitor key performance indicator metrics and visual cues in‑store to assess team performance.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, cash management, customer demand management, labor utilization, and execution of store processes for both Customer Service and E‑Commerce. You will support the Team Leader in developing Team Members and promote WFM core values, leadership principles, and store initiatives while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer experience and hold all Team Members accountable.
  • Establish clear expectations for balancing in‑store service and online order completion.
  • Monitor customer flow and assign tasks to balance needs of all customers.
  • Seek awareness of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Respond effectively to customer questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders, store leadership, and partners such as Amazon delivery drivers.
  • Foster a positive environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and high morale.
  • Maintain safety and security standards for Team Members.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory rules and standards.
  • Develop, coach, mentor, and motivate Team Members to sustain high performance and minimize turnover.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work spaces including staging area and coolers.
  • Secure equipment such as MSRs, phones, and currency counters.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities proactively.
  • Consistently communicate and model WFM core values and leadership principles.
Job Skills
  • Ability to manage tasks and balance dynamic customer flows.
  • Strong analysis skills to root cause underperformance via metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to teach in a positive, constructive manner.
  • Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and operations‑related applications.
Qualifications
  • 12+ months retail experience.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Standing/walking 6–8 hours during an 8‑hour day.
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
  • Perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions.
  • Exposure to FDA‑approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to temperatures below 32°F, 32–40°F, and above 90°F.
  • Work in wet and cold environments.
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Use tools and equipment such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

Wage Range
: $17.50–$30.20 per hour, commensurate with experience.
