Position Summary:

You will be part of the freezer, cooler, and deli team and play an important role in operations and sanitary conditions of our freezers and coolers, keeping products ready for our members. When working in the deli department, you’ll be on the front lines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.

• Ensuring high-quality products are taken care of and available for our members
• Maintaining clean shelves, temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
• Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stocking displays
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Conducts safety sweeps and follows forklift spotting procedures
• Handles and disposes of hazardous materials per procedures
• Maintains Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area per company policies
• Receives and stocks merchandise, sets up and cleans displays, removes damaged goods
• Signs and prices merchandise and completes required audits, paperwork, logs, and documentation
• Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues
• Follows food handling policies and operates, repairs, and sanitizes equipment
• Maintains cold chain and cleans freezer/cooler/deli area; reports issues to Management
