Job Overview:
Mobile Associates in-store are key members of the Retail Team, bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life in partner locations. They engage customers, educate them on solutions, and achieve sales and quality metrics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage customers in a high‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate and demonstrate T‑Mobile products and services.
- Leverage digital self‑serve tools during interactions, identify customer needs, and use solution‑based selling to recommend wireless solutions and onboard customers into the T‑Mobile app ecosystem.
- Complete training on the in‑store experience, products, processes, and systems; stay up‑to‑date on promotions and Hub updates to remain customer ready.
- Build rapport with customers, meet performance targets, perform price overrides for national retail specialty offers, and follow up on referrals, be‑back processes, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with store leadership and teams to support account set‑up, device support, and account servicing.
Education and
Work Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Minimum six months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong customer advocacy and passion for service, balancing experience with performance goals (required).
- Team building orientation and willingness to collaborate with peers and store leaders (required).
- Competitive drive for success in a fast‑paced sales environment (required).
Licenses and
Certifications:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation:
Hourly base pay $20.50 plus $5.00 per hour training pay during the first 90 days. After training, eligible for promotion to Mobile Expert with annualized incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a $20/hour compensation package inclusive of base and incentives.
