POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for the support, supervision, coaching, leading, motivating and training full time and part time Merchandisers for Hawaii Coffee Company. Assist with directing, administering and coordinating the day to day activities of the Retail Sales Services department to achieve the company’s goals and ensure standards of merchandising. The Merchandiser Supervisor will be a competent individual who is able to coach employees and is result driven and focused.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Regular attendance as required.
- Establish and maintain customer rapport by providing outstanding customer service.
- Assist with maintaining and enforcing departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Assist in training and developing team with new and existing programs.
- Assist in setting performance goals and deadlines.
- Ensure employee’s understanding of organized workflow and duties.
- Share communications between team and management.
- Create and maintain reports to monitor department activities.
- Reassign routes as needed to ensure proper coverage to retail accounts.
- Ensure integrity of displays in all assigned account locations.
- Ensure shelf compliance in all assigned account locations.
- Conduct periodic route inspections to ensure standards of merchandising and schematic compliance.
- Follow specified company procedures for the appropriate handling of all emergency responses and safety practices.
- Assist in hiring and training of Sales/Service Associates.
- Assist with annual evaluations of Sales/Service Associates.
- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if necessary.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
- Monitor team productivity.
- Maintain timekeeping and personnel records.
- Assist with resets at retail and military accounts.
- Maintain weekly department schedules for Part Time Merchandisers.
- Maintain monthly department schedules for Full Time Merchandisers.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
