Retail Housekeeping Associate, Ala Moana

Job Overview

Primary responsibility for the Housekeeper is to ensure the store is cleaned daily for customers. Other functions include distribution of merchandise bags and boxes and carrying out purchases for customers. Perform other duties as needed.

Full‑time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part‑time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability.

• Maintain customer service as the top priority.
• Project a courteous and professional demeanor to all internal and external customers.
• Clean and maintain fitting rooms.
• Pick up trash from registers, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Clean and re‑stock restrooms.
• Dust the sales floor (both high and low).
• Maintain carpets and tile floors.
• Ensure that shortage prevention initiatives are executed.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

• No education required.
• 1–2 years of direct experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Works well independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Essential physical requirements: prolonged periods of standing or walking around the store; may involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision, and climbing ladders; use equipment such as ladder, vacuum, broom/mop, high‑speed buffer, pushcart, and hand truck; frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs.
