• Live the Sprouts name by delivering a high level of customer service and satisfaction in our produce department.
• Handle, prepare, and merchandize farm fresh produce according to the Produce Department schematics.
• Stock the produce department, including presentation of product, facing, filling and organization as set by the schematics.
• Ensure tag and pricing accuracy throughout the department.
• Perform proper stocking and rotation of merchandise, including trimming, watering and merchandising to maintain freshness.
• Lead the department when the Produce Manager is absent, ensuring proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability.
• Answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work area (tables, floor, walls, cases, cooler, freezer, etc.).

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Have an outgoing and friendly behavior; a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Work a flexible schedule that may change as the business changes, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have good communication skills, and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and weights and measures regulations.
• Stand, walk, bend, climb throughout the entire workday and lift, stack and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Walk a total up to 5 miles in an 8‑hour shift.
• Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit.

The pay range for this position is $15.90 – $22.25 per hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
