The Retail Store Manager at Brighton Collectibles in Honolulu, HI is responsible for leading daily store operations in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role oversees sales performance, customer service standards, visual merchandising, and inventory management to ensure an engaging, well-organized store environment. The manager hires, trains, schedules, and coaches team members, setting clear expectations and supporting development to achieve individual and store goals.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, managing cash handling and loss prevention, executing promotional and seasonal initiatives, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. The Retail Store Manager partners with regional leadership to implement company strategies and to ensure a consistent Brighton brand experience.
- Retail leadership and management skills, including team supervision, performance coaching, and scheduling.
- Customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build client relationships, drive conversions, and meet sales targets.
- Operations and merchandising skills, including inventory control, visual merchandising, and store presentation.
- Organizational and communication skills, such as time management, problem-solving, and clear verbal and written communication.
- Experience with POS systems, basic math skills for cash handling, and comfort with standard retail technology.
- Previous experience as a retail manager or supervisor, preferably in fashion, accessories, or specialty retail.
- Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
