Garden Center Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Garden Center Manager to oversee the operations of our garden center. This is a full‑time position located in Richardson, TX (75081) and offers opportunities for career growth. People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.

• Oversee daily operations of the garden center, including opening and closing procedures
• Manage and train a team of garden center staff to provide exceptional customer service
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
• Create attractive displays to showcase garden center products
• Assist customers with plant selection, gardening advice, and lawn care recommendations
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote garden center products through e‑commerce platforms
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Previous experience in garden center management or a related field (3 years required)
• Strong knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and lawn care products
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide expert advice
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred but not required
• Proven ability to drive sales and meet revenue targets
• Organizational skills with attention to detail
• Retail sales experience is a plus

Work location:

In‑person, Richardson, TX 75081.

Schedule:

8‑hour shift, Monday to Friday with rotating weekends. Requires relocation to Richardson before starting work.
