Specialty Sales Representative

Job Description

Mālama Ola is the premier provider of hospice and palliative services in Hawai`i. We are dedicated to setting the standard of excellence for compassionate healthcare. We are seeking a high-performing Sales Representative to join our team and drive the growth of our mission across Oahu.

This is a field-based sales position. Your primary objective is to grow our patient census by building deep, trust-based relationships with healthcare providers and ensuring Mālama Ola is the first choice for patient referrals.

We are hiring for sales talent & we are looking for a professional who understands the mechanics of territory management. While medical or healthcare experience is a plus, it is NOT a requirement
. If you have a proven track record of hitting quotas in any high-activity sales industry (B2B, timeshare, payroll, telecom, etc.), we want to talk to you. We will provide the full clinical training you need to be successful in our healthcare space.

• Strategic Prospecting:
  Identify and win new referral streams from physicians, specialists, and hospital discharge planners.
• Relationship Management:
  Maintain a high-frequency visit cycle with existing partners to ensure a consistent flow of referrals.

  Conduct professional presentations to educate medical staff on our clinical benefits.
• Territory Growth:
  Achieve monthly and quarterly admission goals by effectively bypassing gatekeepers and securing commitments.

• Sales excellence with 2+ years of success in a high-activity outside sales role (Top 10% performers preferred).
• Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable with a performance-based environment.
• Professional Polish with the ability to build rapport quickly with high-level decision-makers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of team.
• Experience in a marketing role (within the healthcare industry is a plus).
• Proficient in data entry and comfortable using electronic health records.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily territory coverage.
