ViiV Healthcare is seeking an experienced, results‑driven professional to join our Specialty Sales team as a Territory Account Manager (TAM) on the long‑acting HIV injectable treatment sales team. The successful candidate will develop strategic business plans, engage healthcare professionals (HCPs), and drive sales and service outcomes in alignment with ViiV’s mission to leave no person with HIV behind.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver results through exceptional sales and service.
- Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt new HIV treatment approaches.
- Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges.
- Leverage data analytics and market expertise to identify high‑priority prospects.
- Prepare and execute tailored business plans to help HCPs scale their treatment models.
- Coordinate and partner with cross‑functional team members (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver integrated product experiences.
- Maintain a portfolio‑based selling mindset and ensure a cohesive, integrated customer experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating and addressing HCP needs and requests.
- Adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem‑solving techniques.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders.
- Act in ways consistent with ViiV’s culture, expectations, and values.
- Embrace ambiguity in a launch environment and view setbacks as learning opportunities.
- Escalate issues and risks when needed; demonstrate courage by speaking up.
- Understand and follow compliance and regulatory guidelines.
- BA/BS degree.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- 3+ years of specialty sales experience.
- Domestic travel required; most time on the road.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
- Strong planning, organization, analytical, business acumen, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience influencing and collaborating cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Sales success in complex market‑access coverage situations.
- Experience managing cold‑chain treatment products with HCPs.
- Knowledge of the HIV treatment and/or prevention markets.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
- Experience partnering within an integrated account team model that includes multiple field‑based team members.
Base salary ranges from $145,500 to $242,500 annually, plus an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in a share‑based long‑term incentive program. Benefits include health care and other insurance for employees and families, retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
