The Designated Selling Associate delivers one‑on‑one customer service and product expertise for the jewelry brand, driving sales and championing the assortment. DSAs set and achieve sales goals across in‑store and digital channels, cultivate lasting customer relationships, and support merchandising and product knowledge initiatives. This role emphasizes appointment‑based selling, customer follow‑up, and educating peers on trends and product features.

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in‑store and digital selling using selling tools such as text, social media, and reservations
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through personalized and appointment‑based selling
• Provide product knowledge to customers and peers, lead DSA‑run product meetings, and deliver brand education
• Maintain department presentation through stocking, re‑merchandising, displays, price markdowns, and transfers
• Use sales reporting to track performance, follow up strategically with customers, and drive predictable business
• Support account growth by opening Nordstrom Rewards program accounts and promoting loyalty
• Work a flexible schedule and assist other departments or brands as business needs require

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and cultivate customer relationships
• Ability to excel in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting
• Flexible availability to work variable schedules based on business needs
• Confidence selling across a range of price points and demonstrating product value to customers
• Ability to read and apply sales reporting in relation to goals
• Physical ability to be on foot continuously for 6‑8 hours, frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
