Position Function

I‑Senior:
Responsible for managing, retaining and growing a portfolio of high‑valued Commercial Market clients with deposit accounts/relationships. With an emphasis on new core deposit acquisition, generate new business relationships for the bank. Assist with development of product collateral and documentation. Provide technical support and assist with maintenance of products and services sold. Assist with client product training. Integrate all core functions with other Commercial Markets to generate new business relationships for the bank.

I‑III:
Support cash management product and service sales calls with product demonstrations and presentations.

Senior:
Support Merchant and Cash Management products and services sales calls with product demonstrations and presentations.

Primary

Accountabilities Portfolio Growth
  • I‑Senior:
    Generate new business through an organized and targeted calling program; develop and maintain a business referral and information network consisting of trusted professional contacts for advice, counsel and new referrals; work with Commercial and Corporate Markets and other areas of the bank to identify clients and prospects appropriate for the Deposit Team; and attain and/or exceed sales (productions and portfolio growth) goals using effective sales techniques and negotiating skills.
  • I‑III:
    Lead with deposits; work closely with clients and prospects to identify opportunities to grow deposits with safe and profitable solutions.
  • Senior:
    Lead with Merchant Services; work closely with clients and prospects to identify opportunities to grow merchant services with safe and profitable solutions.
Cash Management Product and Service Support
  • Provide technical business product and service support; maintain business product and service and resolve incidents; assist in the development and maintenance of effective client relationships with Line officers (Commercial, Business, and Community Banking).
  • Assist in Product Development and Evaluation: evaluate product line and implement enhancements/changes; develop procedures for business products and services.
Referrals/Fee Income Opportunities
  • Generate new business in other areas of the bank through an effective relationship management process, including active profiling and appropriate cross‑selling, introductions and referrals; develop new sources of fee income and increase overall profitability of the book of business.
Relationship Management
  • I‑Senior:
    Establish, retain and grow business customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service; use understanding of the needs of businesses to market or coordinate sale of the appropriate product or service; profile to find solutions for the company’s financial needs; expand business client relationships by anticipating and identifying the needs of the business client and meeting these needs through additional product sales or referrals;

    provide networking introductions; maintain and manage customer information database and financial profiles within the portfolio to assist selling efforts and provide management reports that develop customer leads and marketing programs.
  • I‑III:
    Provide the highest standards of account maintenance and servicing of assigned portfolio of deposit accounts through regular contact and communication with customers and a commitment to quality service.
  • Senior:
    Provide the highest standards of account maintenance and servicing of assigned portfolio of merchant accounts through regular contact and communication with customers and a commitment to quality service.
