As a Sales Manager you will support, coach and retain Compass agents while fostering an exceptional company culture. The role acts as a conduit between the regional leadership team and our agents and focuses on implementing sales and platform‑related initiatives aligned with the company’s vision and annual goals.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a large agent population, providing strategic and operational guidance to the executive team.
- Retain and coach Compass agents while fostering an exceptional company culture.
- Lead regular office‑wide agent meetings covering growth planning, performance reviews, and company policy updates.
- Relay market intelligence from the Research team and Business Development targets to agents.
- Provide agents with high‑level business planning, feedback, and professional development guidance.
- Develop initiatives to boost agent productivity and reinforce these practices through coaching.
- Track and monitor key metrics and platform adoption that drive revenue and increase efficiency.
- Support agents in developing and delivering personal sales goals.
- Ensure a positive work environment to promote agent satisfaction and overall retention.
- Promote positive behavioral attributes and attitudes among agents.
- Resolve agent, brokerage, and contract/compliance issues on an as‑needed basis.
- Act as a conduit between local leadership and agents by implementing sales‑related initiatives aligned with company vision and values.
- Collaborate with Business Development on agent recruitment and support agents in pitching new business opportunities.
- Lead agency contract renewals for the roster annually.
- Share perspectives on future agent management and upcoming strategies with regional and national operations.
- In‑depth knowledge and proven track record in the leadership areas listed above.

- Commitment to exceed goals.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- Experience with contract review.
- Personal sales experience as a Realtor with 5+ years of being licensed; broker’s license preferred; valid license in applicable state(s) at all times of service.
- At least two years of experience as an Associate Sales Manager or 5+ years in real estate sales/sales management.
- Deep understanding of local real estate contracts and laws.
- Must obtain the state license requirements for any jurisdiction in which the candidate is operating (e.g., broker’s level).
The base pay range for this position is $136,500 – $151,700, though it may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with a full range of benefits. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
