Senior Content Manager - ACEP

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid; local to DFW area only; fully remote applicants will not be considered)

About ACEP: The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) is the national medical society representing emergency medicine. Through continuing education, research, public education, and advocacy, ACEP advances emergency care on behalf of its 41,000 emergency physician members, and the more than 150 million Americans they treat on an annual basis.

The Senior Content Manager develops and manages messaging related to ACEP priorities across various communication channels. The role, in partnership with internal teams as well as outside vendors, leads the production of print and online publications in service of an established communication plan.

• Develop and manage messaging related to ACEP priorities across multiple communication channels.
• Lead the production of print and online publications in support of a comprehensive communication plan.
• Collaborate with internal teams and outside vendors to coordinate content creation and publication.
• Manage writers, freelancers, and designers to deliver high‑quality content.
• Utilize web content management systems and customer relationship management (CRM) systems to manage digital content.

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field (equivalent work experience will be considered).
• Experience managing and writing for periodical publications as well as websites.
• Proficiency with web content management systems.
• Experience managing writers, freelancers, and designers.
• Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Familiarity with issues related to emergency medicine/organized medicine is a plus.
• Prior experience working for a membership association is a plus.
• Web publishing experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $87,087.00 - $ per year

Schedule: 8‑hour shift, Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Irving, TX 75063; relocation to Irving, TX required before starting work.
