Account Manager

Our client is the leading network integration company in Hawaii. They specialize in designing and building world-class networks for federal and local government, critical infrastructure, and enterprise companies that require robust and reliable communications.

The Account Manager will focus on selling to new customers, as well as cultivating and growing our installed base of customers. The Account Manager will sell new products and services, maintenance agreements, as well as prepare proposals, bid responses and quotes. • Ability to convert leads into opportunities and close deals
• Work closely with partners in a collaborative environment
• Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders
• The ability to understand a customer’s business and develop strategic roadmaps
• Warm and cold calling
• Write proposals and bid responses
• Utilize resources including sales leads, marketing collateral, and supplemental sales training
• Effectively demonstrating to potential customers, the value of Banyan Networks
• Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth

• Bachelor’s degree or better in business, technical discipline, or engineering
• 5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales role, technology sales preferred
• Knowledge of telecommunications
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and ability to work both independently and with a team
• Technical aptitude
• Detail-oriented and good time management skills with the ability to prioritize work
• Ability to persevere in the face of adversity
• Neighbor island travel required
• Driver's license required
• Drug test required
