European Inside Sales Manager, Biopharma
The European Inside Sales Manager, Biopharma is a key member of the Biopharma international sales organization and leadership team and plays a pivotal role in Nova Biomedical's business growth and direct expansion across all direct European markets.
This role is responsible for driving lead generation and opportunity creation activities across all Biopharma product portfolios and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) within Nova's addressable market. The European Inside Sales Manager will build, train, lead, and manage a high-performing team of Scientific Inside Sales Representatives focused on generating qualified opportunities, supporting account managers, growing the sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Build, train, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Scientific Inside Sales Representatives.
- Drive lead generation and opportunity creation activities across all European markets.
- Support Account Managers in progressing opportunities from initial engagement through purchase order.
- Ensure the Inside Sales team utilizes the appropriate customer acquisition, prospecting, and sales engagement platforms effectively.
- Establish a culture of commercial excellence, accountability, customer engagement, and data-driven execution.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Applications, and Product Management teams to develop effective customer engagement strategies.
- Generate qualified sales opportunities, customer meetings, demonstrations, and pipeline growth.
- Ensure consistent execution and adoption of commercial strategies across the Inside Sales organization.
- Drive customer engagement, relationship development, thought leadership activities, pipeline generation, and strategic account development.
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve a comprehensive prospecting database covering all Ideal Customer Profiles within Nova's addressable market.
- Develop and maintain detailed account intelligence including companies, laboratories, departments, buyer personas, and purchasing stakeholders.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities within Nova's installed customer base and expand portfolio penetration.
- Develop and execute multi-channel outbound and inbound marketing and communication strategies.
- Utilize Linked In, email campaigns, calling campaigns, webinars, newsletters, digital marketing initiatives, and other prospecting activities to generate demand.
- Develop customer segmentation and buyer persona strategies to improve commercial effectiveness.
- Build engaged online communities of customers, prospects, key opinion leaders, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and publish educational, scientific, technical, and business-oriented content supporting customer engagement and demand generation.
- Leverage social selling activities to convert digital engagement into qualified opportunities and new business growth.
- Implement and manage KPI dashboards, activity tracking tools, reporting systems, and performance metrics to ensure measurable business results.
Experience Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of international inside sales experience within the Biotech and Biopharma industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading international inside sales teams within the Biotech and Biopharma sector.
- Proven success building, training, coaching, mentoring, and scaling high-performing inside sales organizations.
- Strong understanding of Biotech and Biopharma workflows, laboratory environments, procurement processes, and regulated industry requirements.
- Proven track record selling capital equipment valued between $50,000 and $750,000.
- Experience selling multi-year service contracts valued up to $250,000 and associated consumables.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision makers.
- Strong working knowledge of and other CRM systems.
- Experience with customer acquisition and prospecting platforms, digital marketing tools, Linked In Sales Navigator, and AI-enabled business tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate scientific, technical, and business information effectively.
- Fluency in English required.
- Additional European languages are highly desirable, particularly German.
