Additional Information: Salary Range: $90,000–$120,000 base salary, depending on qualifications and experience, plus performance-based variable compensation tied to revenue and strategic partnership goals.

The Business Development Lead – Energy & Industrial Technologies will drive growth and market adoption of Oceanit’s emerging technologies across the energy and industrial sectors. This highly customer-facing role will build relationships with operators, EPCs, contractors, and strategic partners; identify new applications and markets; and work closely with Oceanit’s scientists and engineers to translate customer challenges into commercial opportunities.
This position is U.S.
-based and requires approximately 40–50% domestic and international travel, with a focus on Europe, North Africa, West Africa, and Central Asia, including potential travel to Italy, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Algeria, Libya, Republic of the Congo, and Angola.

- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow revenue and adoption of Oceanit technologies, including HeatX, DragX, ThermAI, WAI, and other emerging technologies.
- Build and maintain relationships with operators, asset owners, EPCs, engineering firms, contractors, and strategic industry partners.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new customers, applications, markets, partnerships, and revenue opportunities.
- Spend time with customers and at operating sites to understand technical and operational challenges and identify opportunities for Oceanit solutions.
- Support existing customers and technology deployments, coordinating with Oceanit technical teams on installation, performance reviews, and expansion opportunities.
- Develop and deliver technical and business presentations, proposals, demonstrations, and customer briefings.
- Develop strategic partnerships and networks of qualified contractors and service providers to support international deployments.
- Represent Oceanit at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and technical reviews.
- Manage opportunities from initial engagement and qualification through proposal, negotiation, contracting, deployment, and account growth.
- Maintain and communicate sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, customer activity, and progress toward business development goals.
- Collaborate closely with Oceanit’s scientists, engineers, product teams, and leadership to support commercialization and identify new technology development opportunities.
- 8–10+ years of business development, technical sales, oilfield services, upstream operations, industrial technology, or related experience.
- Demonstrated success developing new business and generating revenue within energy, oil & gas, industrial, or other technically complex markets.
- Experience selling technical products, services, or solutions to operators, asset owners, EPCs, or engineering organizations.
