Salary:
Step 19 – $34,098 annually ($2,841.50/month)

• Research the effectiveness of Pilina Support Team (PST) programs and outreach efforts in creating a sense of belonging at UH Manoa and create an annual report of findings.
• Provide support to PST by attending meetings, taking minutes, supporting the chair with follow‑up tasks, updating folders in the committee’s shared drive, and disseminating meeting notices, minutes and other materials.
• Support PST online events and in‑person (as determined) by providing online tech support, assisting with registration, sending email reminders and announcements, taking notes during events, and creating follow‑up materials.
• Develop assessment tools and a data collection plan.
• Assist PST communication efforts in partnership with the UH Communications Office, including creating social media content and assisting with the PST website.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Enrollment as a Master’s or Doctoral student at UH Manoa in good academic standing, maintaining a 3.0 GPA or higher and making appropriate progress toward the degree. Pursuing a degree in Educational Administration, Public Administration, Communication, Urban and Regional Planning, Public Health, or a related field.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage several tasks.
• Ability to facilitate online meetings, including breakout rooms, chat discussions, and the Q&A features in Zoom and Google.
• Understanding of Title IX and campus climate initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
