Residential Specialist

Overview

Associa is building the future of community with more than 225 branch offices across North America and a team of 11,000+ professionals. This role supports the Capitol Place General Manager in directing the efficient operation of the Capitol Place residential complex. It includes management and maintenance of building facilities, resident accommodations, and terms of occupancy, as well as establishing and developing personnel, administrative, and maintenance standards.

The position also involves preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and budgets, and performing the duties of the General Manager in his absence. The role emphasizes safety of residents, guests, and employees through safety training and maintaining the building security system and procedures. Incident reports are reviewed and approved as part of duties.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Assist in directing the efficient operation of Capitol Place residential complex.
• Provide luxury, first class, personal customer service to all Capitol Place owners and residents.
• Offer bell services, room service deliveries, and concierge "like" services.
• Maintain order, enforce Capitol Place rules, regulations, and policies; insure observance of applicable laws.
• Report discrepancies and infractions to the General Manager.
• Patrol lobbies, corridors, public restrooms, and other areas to detect violations.
• Investigate disturbances, complaints, and accidents; confer with management; interview guests and employees; warn or trespass violators; caution careless persons.
• Render and obtain assistance for accident victims and document information via incident reports.
• Assist as a first responder to emergency situations and support emergency and law enforcement personnel as needed.

• Supervision Exercised:
  Shift Leads (1 per shift) will supervise each of three shifts.
• Supervision Received:
  Receives general supervision from General Manager, and Operations Manager.

Overnight shift 11:00pm-7:00am

$21 per hour

• Experience:
  
  Prefer at least one (1) year experience in hospitality or condo security. Customer service background desired.
• Knowledge:
  Able to read, write, type, give and receive oral reports. Computer literate, type 25 wpm, report writing. Good human relations and leadership skills. Ability to communicate effectively over telephone and portable equipment; interact with management, residents, resident guests, visitors, employees and law enforcement authorities. Ability to lift and/or move a 75-lb. person in emergency situations. Team oriented with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• Education/Training:
  High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract. CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. Current State Guard Card.
