Airport Security Officer - Checkpoint in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities. This position is posted at the TSA checkpoints, ensuring that once closed that passengers no longer have access to walk through, along with patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff.

Position Type: Part Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You ll Do
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned areas and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or members of the public as needed.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help deter unauthorized entry.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergencies.
Minimum Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
