Position: Airport Security Officer - CCTV Full Time

As an Airport Security Officer - CCTV in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service. In the CCTV unit, you will not only be monitoring CCTV cameras and coverage of all the airport property.

This position also includes being dispatched to door and gate breaches to ensure procedures have not been violated.

Position Type:
Full Time - Afternoon Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout terminals, parking areas, curbside zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter prohibited activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas by observing credentials, directing authorized individuals, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site representatives and public agency partners as directed.
  • Complete routine reports and shift documentation, communicate via radio and/or phone, and report maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through appropriate channels.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
