As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will conduct routine foot patrols across campus areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls. You will greet students, faculty, staff, and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and calm professionalism.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients at an educational location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with campus staff and/or local first responders as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment.

+ Monitor access points and interior areas for unusual activity, provide directions and assistance to students, staff, and visitors, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.

+ Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to the site contact and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related checks such as door and alarm status as assigned.

* + A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
