Security Officer - X-Ray Screener

Allied Universal - Up to $22.83/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service while carrying out security-related screening procedures and site-specific policies at a government courthouse location, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Conduct entry screening of visitors, employees, and vendors using walkthrough magnetometers, handheld wands, and/or X-ray equipment; address prohibited or restricted items per post orders.;
Manage access control and visitor processing by verifying identification, directing foot traffic, issuing visitor credentials when applicable, and communicating entry requirements in a professional manner.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with court personnel and/or law enforcement as needed and completing required reports.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas such as lobbies, corridors, and building perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
