Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing direction to appropriate campus resources and/or public services as needed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by post assignment.;
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, verifying authorization when required, and reporting concerns through the proper channels.;
Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and assist with securing property by reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations.
