As an Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI
, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocols and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Daytime Tue 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM;
Wed 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM;
Thu 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM

• 20+ years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, public agencies, and/or site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, roadways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, check credentials and/or access permissions where required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Assist with traffic flow, crowd management, and directional support during peak travel periods, special events, alarms, and/or operational disruptions at the location.

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
