Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior;
Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel regarding security-related concerns;
Assist with traffic and pedestrian flow observation, provide directions and general assistance, and document unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations observed during patrols
