As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Job Schedule:
Daytime Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thu 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Pre-Employment Requirement:
Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner and report relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, lobbies, and/or exterior areas to help deter unauthorized entry, support tenant needs, and follow post orders for the location.
- Complete routine reports and document observations, incidents, and/or policy‑related concerns while communicating professionally with tenants, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
