Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

* Valid Drivers License

* 21+ years of age

* Have ability to pass a backgrround check, drug screening and physical exam.

* Abulity to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT rquirements)

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government-operated transportation location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, exterior grounds, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

* Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and support orderly movement of pedestrians and vehicles in accordance with site protocols.

* Assist with security-related inquiries, provide directions and general information, and support de-escalation efforts during customer interactions and/or service disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

* Must be 21+ years of age.

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
