As a Airport Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Full Time, Overnight

Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

* Valid Drivers License

* 21+ years of age

* Have ability to pass a backgrround check, drug screening and physical exam.

* Abulity to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT rquirements)

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

* Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public agencies as needed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.

* Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or security-related issues according to site protocols.

* Complete required reports and documentation regarding incidents, patrol activity, and/or noteworthy observations in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

* The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
