Experience: Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Schedule: Sunday - Monday, 6:00am to 2:00pm;
Tuesday - Thursday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Job Description

Conduct regular patrols of the condominium property, including common areas, parking lots, entrances, and exits. Monitor CCTV systems for suspicious activity or security breaches.

Ensure only authorized individuals enter the property by verifying credentials, managing guest access, and checking identification when necessary. Maintain the integrity of access control systems.

Respond to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, security disturbances, or other emergencies, ensuring a prompt and appropriate response. Notify emergency services when necessary.

Document and report any unusual incidents, security concerns, or violations of building policies. Prepare incident reports and ensure that all logs are accurate and up to date.

Assist residents, guests, and visitors with inquiries or requests.

Provide a high level of customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Enforce property rules and regulations, such as parking restrictions, noise ordinances, and visitor guidelines. Ensure that residents and visitors comply with building policies.

Participate in emergency drills and security training to ensure readiness for all types of situations. Follow emergency protocols and procedures as directed by the Security Supervisor.

Regularly check security equipment, including alarms, cameras, and communication devices, ensuring they are functioning properly. Report any malfunctions for repair.

Work closely with the Security Supervisor and building management to maintain a safe and secure environment. Assist in addressing any resident concerns or security issues that arise.

Position Requirements

Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle security situations and emergencies calmly and professionally.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to operate security equipment, such as CCTV systems, alarm systems, and two-way radios.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications:

Security officer certification or other relevant certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid) preferred but not required.
