Position: Security Officer Airport Full Time Patrol Observer
As a Airport Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to travelers and staff.

Full Time, Dayshift

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

* 20+ Years of Age

* Valid Drivers License

* Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge

* Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

* Monitor entry and restricted areas, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.

* Document incidents, patrol activities, and noteworthy observations in written reports, logs, and/or electronic systems as required by Allied Universal and the location.

Minimum Requirements:

* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

* Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
