As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting travelers and staff through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.23 per hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• 20+ Years of Age
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to use computers – basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas, access points, terminal‑adjacent spaces, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor authorized entry activity, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and policy violations according to site protocols.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol observations, and notable activity in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
