Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Support Team in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

Job Schedule
  • Thursday – 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM
  • Friday – 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM
  • Saturday – 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM
What You Will Do
  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and actions taken according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and activity across the location, assist with directions and general inquiries, and help to address policy-related issues in a professional manner.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by documenting incidents, communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
Minimum Requirements
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
  • Consideration of qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Drug screen required to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements subject to local laws and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
