Security Officer Patrol Guardian – Honolulu, HI

Position Type: Full Time, Morning

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Thur 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM
• Fri 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM
• Sat 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM
• Sun 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors and/or public agency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and pedestrian traffic for authorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or policy concerns, and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with documenting daily activities, incidents, and observations, and support coordination during weather events, transportation disruptions, and/or other operational issues.

• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (required only for driving positions).
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
• Basic computer knowledge; comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
