Airport Security Officer Customer Support Patrol –
Honolulu, HI

You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more at a busy government transportation location, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, remaining visible to deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Job Schedule: Mon‑Wed, Sat‑Sun 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM

• 20+ Years of Age
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to use computers – basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or public agency partners.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry activity, restricted areas, and credential compliance as directed by post instructions, helping to support authorized access and orderly operations.
• Assist with traffic flow, way finding, and crowd management during busy periods, special events, and/or transportation disruptions while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
