Job Overview

Behavioral Systems Southwest, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to work in our residential program. The role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors, while providing comprehensive reintegration services to the ex‑offender population.

• Population counts and movement control in and out of the program.
• Conduct urinalysis testing and searches.
• Ensure life safety and enforce policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Assist with decision making, social skills development, and job search support for residents.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability and ability to multi‑task.
• Work varied schedule, including graveyard/swing shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Pass an extensive criminal background investigation.
• Clear DMV record and provide a 3‑year DMV printout at the time of application.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

  8‑hour shifts, evening shift, holidays, overtime, weekends as needed.
