Position SummaryANSER is seeking a CI Target Support Specialist to support Counterintelligence (CI) targeting operations through comprehensive all-source analysis and target development. You will conduct classified and open-source research to identify and develop CI leads, targets, and high-value individuals while producing intelligence products that enable operational decision-making. You will coordinate with intelligence, law enforcement, operational, and HUMINT partners to support sensitive intelligence collection activities and targeting efforts.
In this role, you will provide analytical expertise, maintain targeting databases, and deliver intelligence briefings and training in support of mission objectives.
- Conduct classified and open-source research to identify and develop Counterintelligence (CI) leads, targets, and high-value individuals.
- Prepare Target Nominations, Lead Tenders, Operational Support Packages, Program Profiles, and Target Development Packages.
- Create, update, and maintain target records, nominations, and intelligence databases.
- Perform all-source, network, warning, damage, collateral, and combat assessment analysis to support targeting decisions.
- Recommend target priorities and targeting strategies aligned with ACIC and commander objectives.
- Coordinate targeting efforts with operational units, intelligence agencies, federal law enforcement organizations, and HUMINT elements.
- Produce intelligence reports, analytical products, and executive-level briefings.
- Support Counterintelligence targeting methodology training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Provide analytical support for sensitive intelligence collection operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support mission planning and operational execution.
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with a current Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of four years of experience as a Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Targeting Officer, or successful completion of a foundational targeting course such as Joint CIHUMINT Analytical Targeting Course (JCHATC), Operational HUMINT Targeting Course (OHTC), HUMINT Targeting Tradecraft Seminar (HTTS), or an IC Targeting Officer certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience supporting intelligence operations focused on one or more of the following areas:
China, Russia, Iran, or North Korea. - Demonstrated experience utilizing multiple intelligence disciplines to plan, execute, and support sensitive intelligence collection operations.
- Experience providing direct support to operational military organizations or Intelligence Community elements.
- Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills with the ability to produce high-quality intelligence products.
- Experience developing and presenting intelligence briefings to operational and leadership audiences.
- Proficiency in maintaining intelligence databases and target development records.
- Experience supporting joint military operations and/or interagency intelligence missions.
- Familiarity with CI targeting methodologies and intelligence production processes across multiple organizations.
Full-time salary range: $119,000 – $172,000 USD. Individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market, internal equity, candidate qualifications, skills, education, and experience.
