Information Technology Specialist (Application Software​/Security with Security Clearance

Duties
* serves as a systems administrator for the systems management branch in the regional cyber center- pacific.
* coordinates, integrates, and manages virtualized servers and their physical components.
* attends sci vtcs, meetings and working groups, which require access to top secret sensitive, compartmented information (sci) materials, equipment, programs, facilities, and systems
* participates in the requirements analyzing and refining process with requirements project personnel, and translation of systems requirements into applications specifications.
* designs, develops, modifies, and interfaces applications software. Requirements conditions of employment
* appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* three year trial/probationary period may be required.
* must be able to obtain and maintain top secret eligibility with access to sensitive compartmented information.
* must successfully pass urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter according to ar 600-85, alcohol and drug abuse prevention and control program.
* ability to meet position requirements for certification in information assurance technical (iat-iii) within six months or less of entrance of duty. (certification requirements maybe found in dod 8571.01-m.
* temporary duty travel will be required approximately 5-10% of the time and may require worldwide travel.
* incumbent is required to report for duty during inclement weather, natural disasters, and other emergency situations as directed by the commander and may be required to remain on duty after the official shift ends; subject to recall to duty.
