Rapid Assessment Group is seeking highly motivated, professional, and dependable Armed Security Officers to join our candidate pool for upcoming government, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and critical infrastructure contracts throughout Hawaii.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Qualified applicants who successfully complete the hiring process may receive a conditional offer of employment pending contract award, client approval, licensing, and successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.

• If selected, officers will protect people, property, and assets while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and operational readiness.

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols by foot or vehicle
• Protect client personnel, visitors, property, and assets
• Respond to emergencies, disturbances, alarms, and suspicious activity
• Enforce client policies and applicable laws
• Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity reports
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and security alarms when assigned
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional security presence
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS during emergency incidents
• Maintain accountability of assigned equipment and company property
• Complete all required training and maintain certifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Hawaii driver's license (preferred)
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass random drug screening
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

• Prior military experience
• Federal, state, or local law enforcement experience
• Security, corrections, or executive protection experience
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification
• Stop the Bleed certification
• FEMA ICS training
• Experience working in healthcare, hospitality, government, or critical infrastructure environments

Applicants should possess professional firearms handling experience and demonstrate safe weapons handling practices.

Preference may be given to candidates with:

• Prior armed security experience
• Military firearms qualification
• Law enforcement firearms qualification
• Firearms instructor certification
• Active Hawaii Guard Registration (if applicable)
