As a Transportation Security Officer:
Full Time Airport Unarmed Patrol Technology
in Honolulu, HI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist travelers, staff, and visitors with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, terminals, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe airport operations for compliance with site-specific procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain communication with supervisors, airport personnel, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
