, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools.

Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing authorized individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
