As a Security Guard Full Time Access Control Patrol in Honolulu, HI
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED (C137)1+ Years Prior Military Experience (Hawaii Only) (C166)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, docks, trailers, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, driver, and contractor sign-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• For positions in Hawaii, possess at least one year of prior military experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
