As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor site access to support a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help address security-related concerns.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, issue visitor and contractor access materials, and maintain accurate access-related records.

+ Control vehicle and pedestrian access to help support orderly movement through gates, receiving areas, loading docks, and other designated facility locations.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business perimeter, parking areas, and shipping/receiving locations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

* + A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
