Signal Security of Hawaii is hiring a Gate Attendant in East Honolulu — and we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people. This isn't a traditional security role. It's a customer service position on the front line of access control, where your attitude sets the experience for every resident and visitor who comes through that gate.

No Guard Card. No security background required. Just show up warm, professional, and ready to represent.

• Greeting residents, guests, and vendors with a welcoming, professional attitude
• Verifying identification and confirming access credentials before granting entry
• Maintaining an accurate log of all entries and departures
• Communicating clearly with residents, property management, and your team
• Monitoring the gate area and reporting anything unusual to the appropriate contact
• Keeping the gatehouse and surrounding area clean and presentable
• Staying alert and engaged through both busy rushes and slower stretches

• $20/hour starting pay with room to grow
• Paid on-the-job training — no experience necessary
• Full-time hours, 30–40 per week

• 21 years or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Warm, friendly personality with a genuine desire to help people
• Strong verbal communication skills — clear, courteous, and confident
• Basic computer or tablet skills for logging entry information
• Reliable and punctual — the gate depends on you showing up
• Ability to pass a background check (non-negotiable)
• Reliable transportation to East Honolulu

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or a people-facing role
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a team
