Hawaii Plumbing Group (HPG) is currently looking for experienced, motivated, and organized Service Plumbers to join our team. If you have a good heart and positive attitude, we would like to meet you!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read blueprints and drawings (preferred) to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (Pro Press, pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, snakes, cameras, plungers, etc.)
Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring, etc.)
Install and maintain water supply systems
Locate and repair issues with water supply and waste lines (e.g. leaks)
Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
Repair or replace drain, waste and vent
Install and maintain gas systems
Install waste disposal and sanitary systems
Diagnosis and investigate plumbing issues

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as a plumber (5 years of experience)
Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
Able to follow instructions
Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers
Friendly with a great deal of patience
Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship (preferred)
Valid plumber license to practice profession (preferred)
Must have extensive knowledge of plumbing code

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted

Physically fit with the ability to work in awkward spaces

Alert, focused, and detail-oriented

Ability to crouch, bend, and sit

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Must own tools of the trade

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Must have valid Hawaii Driver's License and clean driver abstract

Must have reliable transportation

Willingness to travel

Must have a smart phone (required)
