Role Overview
As a HVAC Technician Apprentice at Trane Technologies, you will assist seasoned Service Technicians in the installation and repair of environmental control systems at customer locations. Your work will involve applying refrigeration theory, control systems knowledge, pipe fitting, and structural layouts.
Responsibilities- Ensure customer satisfaction by servicing products, equipment, and systems at customer locations.
- Identify, examine, diagnose, and plan for equipment repair.
- Collaborate with supervising field technicians, project managers, and customers to precisely understand requirements for on‑site installations.
- Forecast potential issues, gather necessary materials, and synchronize on‑site work.
- Use cutting‑edge software, hand tools, and blueprints/engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
- Enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company assets.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- No industry experience required; technical school certificates and/or formal HVAC training/experience preferred but not mandatory.
- A strong desire to learn a trade and directly impact the world around you.
Hourly base pay: $21.55–$29.32. No incentive, no sales commission.
